Founded in 1993, Oceanis is one of the world’s largest Aquarium owners and operators. The group owns and operates aquariums in Melbourne, Mooloolaba, Busan, Shanghai and Bangkok. A new aquarium is currently under construction in Dubai, which will open in 2008.
Oceanis Australia is owned by an ASX listed company, Living and Leisure Australia (LLA). LLA is an Australian based entity that manages a range of businesses in tourism, leisure, property, managed funds and other investments.
Oceanis Aquariums have a commitment to continually re-invent the experience for visitors, and to do this technology plays an important part. Oceanis uses a number of leading business applications such as EPICOR-iSCALA ,ERP Maximizer CRM, Centaman Enterprise to manage operations. The applications and data are hosted on a server farm in Mooloolaba and delivered to users via CITRIX Network, as well as via WAN and LAN infrastructure.
